EuPRAXIA-DN project: Andres Leive Genre's presentation at the XII. Interdisciplinary Doctoral Conference
The conference organized by the Doctoral Student Association of the University of Pécs (PTE DOK), known as the Interdisciplinary Doctoral Conference (IDK2024), took place successfully from the 5th to the 6th of April 2024 at the Faculty of Science.
This international multidisciplinary scientific event, held for the 12th time, was a great success. Andres Leiva Genre, a PhD student at the PTE TTK Doctoral School of Physics had the pleasure of participating in the IDK conference this year in Pécs, Hungary. In EuPRAXIA-DN, scientific communication is paramount. That's why Andres registered for poster and oral presentation modalities to share his work on "Multi-cycle Terahertz Pulse Generation and Start-to-end Simulations of THz-driven Dielectric Laser Accelerators."
On the first day, Andres spoke about his last research activities in a 10-minute presentation. In the morning on the second day, he had the opportunity to present briefly his poster. It was pretty challenging, as most of the public had no physics background. As a result of these activities, Andres obtained 3rd place and 1st place for the poster and presentation, respectively. He is honored to receive these distinctions and he wants to express his gratitude to Szabolcs Turnár (his supervisor) and Zoltán Tibai for their immense help and insights during this conference.
Congratulations Andres, keep up the good work!
