Do you want to travel to Oregon?

They are currently looking for MSc and PhD students to join their growing lab in the Department of Geography at the University of Oregon in Fall 2023. Students that are accepted will be fully-funded either through teaching or research assistantships.

in few words:

"Our group specializes in satellite and drone remote sensing of the cryosphere. We have several ongoing projects primarily focused on the Arctic but are happy for students to design their own research projects. We have recently conducted fieldwork in Alaska and Greenland. We are also developing a few field sites locally in the Oregon Cascades and anticipate more opportunities for fieldwork in the coming years.

Competitive applicants will have strong written, verbal, and computational skills. Desirable skills include research experience in remote sensing, hydrology, or glaciology, proficiency in programming (e.g. Python, Matlab), and interests in cold places."
