Participation Requirements

PRESENTATION REQUIREMENTS

We offer various ways for participants to present their work at the conference:

  1. Section Presentations
    Duration: 10 minutes, followed by a 5-minute discussion.
    Presentations must be submitted in advance if required and should also be brought in multiple portable formats. Please indicate equipment needs on the application form.
    Awards: 1st–3rd places will be awarded in each section, with special prizes available in justified cases. A field-specific jury will evaluate the presentations.
  2. Poster Presentations
    Duration: 2-minute presentation, followed by 1-minute discussion.
    Case presentations are also welcome.
    Format: PDF, 16:9 aspect ratio, minimum resolution of 1920 x 1080, landscape orientation.
  3. Poster Exhibition
    Posters without presentations can also be displayed and grouped thematically at various conference locations
    Format: A1 size, portrait orientation.

Sections

SZOFIKON is a multidisciplinary conference, welcoming participants from all fields of study. The sections will be organized based on the applications received, aligning with currently recognized areas of study.

Participation

The conference will be held in person.

Participants may submit up to two applications, adhering to the following conditions:

  • If the first application is a section presentation, the second can only be a poster for the poster exhibition, where the participant must be the first author.
  • If the first application is a poster presentation, the second can only be a poster for the poster exhibition, where the participant must be the first author.
  • For the poster exhibition alone, up to two posters may be submitted, but the participant must be at least the third author on all submissions.

Registration Fee

The registration fee must be paid to the University of Pécs bank account.

PTE student 2 000 Ft/person
Non-PTE student 4 000 Ft/person
Non-PTE student with accomodation 7 000 Ft/person

The application will only be considered valid once the appropriate fee has been received.

The registration fee covers:

  • A printed abstract book with an ISBN number.
  • Gifts.
  • Sandwich lunches on both days.
