The Faculty of Sciences of the University of Pécs proudly announces the renewed initiation of Recreation MSc programme!

The major makes its return to our Faculty's portfolio with a new curriculum, new subjects, but with the same motivation and philosophy: to train students to help them contribute to the society's mental and physical well-being! It is only available for fee-paying applicants so far, but the long-term plan is to include it into our partner scholarships as well!

In Recreation Master's programme, students get acquainted with the physiological background of popular and less popular sports, they learn how to prevent accidents, diagnose injuries and work on their rehabilitation appropriately. They also get to know perspectives of the physical/mental well-being's connection with dietetics, nutrition and fitness, and they are taught about the organization methodology behind recreational activities and the activities' role in tourism. In order to meet the needs of different societal groups, students learn the most effective ways to reach out to children, adults and also people with special needs!

The application period for the September 2025 intake will start on the 1st of December 2024, and last until the 30th of June 2025! Do not leave your application to the last moments, apply via apply.pte.hu as soon as the portal opens! If you have a Bachelor's Degree in Health Sciences, Physiotherapy, Rehabilitation, Sport Sciences, Physical Training or any other relatable field, then this is a perfect continuation of your academic journey!
